Curated films on youth, adventure & skateboarding 60+
🌟 Youth Matter! — WORLD PREMIERE MYC's own short documentary, produced by Tailwind Media. Made possible by a Community Building Grant from the Maine Community Foundation. Young people are the heart of MYC’s story — and June 4th is the first night the world gets to see it.
🛹 4 DWN A documentary about a North Dallas skatepark built around youth development and food security. Raw, real, and worth your full attention.
🧗 Memphis Rox A climbing gym in a historically Black neighborhood in Memphis, TN — and what happens when adults work with young people to create a place to belong.
🎥 A Way Out A film by Portland's own Michael Babbitt — who will be in the house on June 4th to talk about his art and life.
Plus: clips created by MYC youth participants themselves.
Every film in this lineup was chosen because it reflects what we believe: that adventure recreation spaces — like the Bath Skatepark — help kids, particularly vulnerable youth, find their footing and thrive.
Celebrate & highlight Maine’s largest Indoor skatepark offering over
6,000 square feet for skateboarding, inline skates, scooters & BMX.
