Our Community Navigator will work with you to determine what the most appropriate resources and services are to help you overcome the barriers you are facing, to be able to achieve success. We can help you explore opportunities in our community and see how we can get you involved with more people, groups and activities. To quickly ensure youth are connected to the supports they need, the Community Navigator will stay up to date with resources that are available in the community.

What we can do:

  • Listen to you and explore what resources would be a good fit for your needs
  • Make referrals to any resources and services that would benefit you, such as housing assistance, food assistance, transportation, healthcare, mental health support services, recovery support, domestic violence support, education services, and more
  • Assist with accessing MaineCare, SNAP benefits and other benefits available
  • Provide information about local food pantries and clothing resources

What we can’t do:

  • Provide cash assistance
  • Make payments for individuals
  • Provide counseling services or act as a case manager
  • Provide legal assistance
  • Offer in-home support
