To build a welcoming campus where youth and families can connect with the support they need most
The new youth and family campus will be more than a set of buildings—it will be a vibrant, inclusive space designed to engage and empower youth and their families. It will integrate long-term mentoring, personal development, academic support, and access to a network of programs and services.
The Resilience Center
A bustling central space that serves as the heartbeat of the campus complete with a teaching kitchen, creative spaces, a health center, and even a basketball court.
Expanded Skatepark
A reimagined, year-round destination that stays connected to our roots and provides a safe space for healthy risk taking, and provides jobs for many local teens.
StepUp Housing
As youth homelessness continues to disproportionately affect our county, a 24-unit housing facility will provide safety and stability.
Youth Voice & Choice
At MYC, young people are not just the reason we build, they are our partners in building. From its earliest days, MYC has been shaped by youth: the Bath Skatepark itself was developed by local teens, and the Sagadahoc County Youth Action Board ensures young people remain decision makers at our table. The design of the new Youth & Family Resilience Center will carry this tradition forward. MYC youth have been instrumental in conversations around the design, purpose, and naming of the spaces where they will gather, learn, create, and grow.
Their fingerprints on this building will be the clearest expression of our founding promise.
