Waypoint Program Manager

Responsible for recruiting and onboarding cohorts of middle school students from the Regional School Unit 1 (RSU1) district and guiding them through a six year curricular progression, providing mentorship, experiential learning, and outdoor adventures as catalysts for self-discovery, leadership development and increased aspiration. In addition to working with students, the Program Manager position involves collaborating with the Associate Director and other Waypoint Program Manager to continue developing the Waypoint program. This position also includes a variety of administrative duties, communicating with participant families and RSU1 school partners, recruiting and managing adult volunteer mentors, crafting creative curriculum, and collecting and interpreting evaluation data to inform program design.

Youth Programs Coordinator - Enrichment

The Youth Programs Coordinator (YPC) shall be a key member of the Midcoast Youth Center development team. The YPC will develop programs, events & activities that appeal to youth and families and that increase birthday party bookings. Additionally, the YPC will assist with educational programs targeted toward high-risk populations. The YPC will work closely one-on-one with students or in small & large group settings.

Skate Park Manager

Responsible for providing a safe, healthy, and happy environment for a diverse population of youth, young adults, and adults who engage with the Midcoast Youth Center and Skate Park. As the point person for the Skate Park, the ideal candidate must be comfortable taking charge in a busy environment and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all. This individual must have experience in providing consistent conflict resolution and maintaining firm boundaries while fostering a “You Matter” environment. They must be reliable, consistent, and able to quickly adapt to evolving situations while being community-oriented and mission-driven. The Skate Park Manager will also oversee the skate shop and manage inventory, merchandising, and purchasing. The Skate Park Manager will lead and train applicable MYC Youth Staff to facilitate individual and group skate lessons.
