Compass Summer Camp Program
Midcoast Youth Center’s Summer Camp is more than just something to do during the day — it’s a place where middle schoolers can belong, build confidence, and have an unforgettable summer.
Designed for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders from RSU1, MSAD75, Brunswick, and Richmond schools, this six-week program runs Monday through Thursday from 10am–2pm and is completely free to families
At MYC, we believe summer should be full of opportunity — not financial barriers — which is why camp is offered at no cost. No barriers. Just fun, friends, and food.
Each week blends adventure, connection, and creativity. Campers experience skateboarding and scootering at Maine’s largest indoor skatepark, outdoor games, daily small-group excursions, arts and crafts, music, and more.
Breakfast and lunch are provided daily, ensuring every young person is fueled and ready to participate fully .
Rooted in MYC’s pillars of Stability, Engagement, and Adventure, Summer Camp creates a safe place to land, a caring community to grow in, and meaningful experiences that help youth stretch, explore, and discover what they’re capable of. It’s summer the MYC way — welcoming, active, relationship-centered, and designed so every young person knows: You Matter.
