Waypoint College Tour

MYC Waypoint sophomores left before sunrise on Friday, October 17th and made the trek to University of Maine Machias to learn about that school’s Marine Biology, Outdoor Education, Nursing, and Creative Arts programs. From there, we went further east for a vigorous hike on Cutler Coast.
We glamped in Lincolnville with our friends from Tanglewood 4-H (brrrr!!!)
On the second morning, Saturday, we headed over to UMaine Orono for another great tour. All in all – we had a fabulous time!
Did you know that Waypoint graduates get automatic admission at FIVE Maine Colleges and Universities if they maintain a 3.0 GPA in high school? It’s yet another way MYC works to break down barriers for students to pursue post-secondary education.
