Waypoint Students Host Community Panel to Learn About the World of Work
Posted on April 28, 2025
The 8th Grade Waypoint cohort hosted a panel of eight professionals from around their community in order to foster networks and learning. The 8th graders recruited from parents within their ranks, but they also visited local businesses and invited members of their community to join them. The Forum had 14 students in attendance as curious learners, and the Waypoint students hosted a fabulous event!
This effort meets many of the 5 Waypoint Goals:
- Grow civic engagement, awareness, compassion, and community service within the local community.
