A Message of Thanks!

Dear MYC Supporter,

Thank you for your ongoing support of local youth! Every day, your donations help to create a culture of mattering at MYC, ensuring each student feels significant and finds success through academic support, access to free recreational activities, mentoring, and connections to a variety of services.

Since the beginning of the school year, we’ve identified 24 local high schools students who are currently experiencing homelessness (and we know that there are many more). Your donations mean these students have immediate access to a network of supports that allow them to stay in school, receive healthcare, food, clothing, and find long-term stability.

In addition, just this month, you’ve helped kids like 14-year-old Aaron* get help after a painful medical need kept him up at night and provided mentoring to kids like 13-year-old Angie who is navigating struggles at home and school. By signing up for our meal train, you’ve made sure kids have hearty, homecooked meals to eat throughout the week so that no one goes hungry.

It really does “take a village” and we are so grateful that YOU are part of ours.  THANK YOU for safeguarding children, teens, and young adults in Sagadahoc County, Brunswick & Harpswell!

With Gratitude,

Jamie & the MYC Staff
